We are nearly 100

The Queen sendbrianbadgerss you a telegram when you’re 100, and we’re hoping that one of the remaining members of Queen sends us one when we do our 100th gig in June!
Brian May would be quite welcome to come along and jam with us, although I’m not sure the professor can spare the time away from saving our woodland friends.

We’ve come along way since our first gig at The Ship in Leeds in 2011, where we played a handful of old blues covers to our friends (you’ll never be forgotten!). We now have a setlist of covers that is 100 songs deep, plus enough of our own material to comfortably fill an album.
We’ve played all over the country, from the NEC in Birmingham, to weddings in fields in South Yorkshire, to messy Christmas do’s, lovely weddings, and everything else in between.

HsliderSo what’s next? Well, Miles From Memphis has been long enough coming and we plan to launch it in Summer, with a special party gig that you’re all invited to. We can’t wait for you to hear the songs, plus we have another 6 which are almost ready to record. Look out for more details soon.

If you want to come and see us play (please!) we have lots of gigs up on Facebook at www.facebook.com/theturnarounds/events or tweet us @theturnarounds and we’ll get right back to you.

Peace and love,
Andy, Pete, Ben, Haitch and Chris.
